No card needed. It takes about 10 minutes from here to your first results: around 5 to create your account, 5 to connect AWS, and a minute or two for the first scan.
- Create your account. Use your work email and a password of at least 14 characters, with upper and lower case letters and a number.
- Confirm your email. We send a 6-digit code to that address. It can take a minute to arrive.
- Set up an authenticator app. Every Strays account uses one, because it can see your AWS set-up. Scan the QR code with an app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password, then type the 6-digit code it shows.
- Set up Strays in three steps. Name your organisation, then connect AWS: one click in your AWS console creates a read-only role. Your first scan then starts by itself.
The sign-up pages are run by Amazon Cognito on auth.getstrays.com, so your password never reaches Strays.
