Reports and history

Open Reports in Strays

Reports keeps a dated record of everything Strays found and everything your team did about it: what auditors, insurers and customers' security reviews ask for. Each report has a bar at the top: Back to Reports, Download for a copy to keep or send, and how to print it or save it as PDF with your browser's Print. The bar isn't printed.

What changed

New, fixed and still-open items since the previous scan, grouped by owner. It needs two scans of an account.

Quarterly report

The last 90 days on one page: money saved, risks closed, what's still open. For the board or an insurer. It is on the Team plan and above. With no scans in the last 90 days there is nothing to put in it, so Reports says so instead of opening an empty page.

Scans

Every scan, with when it ran (all times are UTC), the account, the waste a month and the security risks, and a link to its Full report. Each scan's waste is what that scan found, kept and snoozed items included; the line under the table gives today's open and kept or snoozed totals. Free keeps the latest; Team and up keep them all.

Decisions

Which check and item, who kept, snoozed (and until when), reopened or said they were fixing it, and when (UTC). It includes clicks in Slack, such as marked not theirs. The decisions themselves are made in Everything found and This week.

Fixed

What was removed or put right, and the day the scan saw it was gone.

Your name and logo on reports

On the Business plan, an admin can set who your documents say prepared them, a contact email and a logo, in Settings. Every document then carries them: the audit report, evidence packs, the quarterly report, what changed, access review records, leaver reports and the asset register. The logo sits on the cover, and "Powered by Strays" stays in the footer. It's for reports you send to auditors, insurers, customers or your board under your own name, or, if you're a consultancy, for the reports you prepare for a client.

The logo must be a PNG or JPEG of 64 KB or less; it's shown up to 240 by 64 pixels and is stored inside each document, so a downloaded copy keeps it. The app's own pages and emails don't change. Choose Stop co-branding to go back to "Prepared by Strays". If you move off Business, documents say Strays again, and your settings are kept for if you come back.
